Hello all! It’s been awhile since I posted. I’ve been lurking in here for awhile.
Anyway, I just won a bid on eBay for a mib2 discover media head unit. I intended on installing it in my 2011 mk6 gti. I have a few questions I was wondering if you guy might be able to answer.
I’ve read some posts and I am now concerned that the mib2 might not work in my car? Would anyone be able to clearify that it would work? I understand that I would need a new harness to convert the quad lock and a new canbus. Would that be it? I am currently upgrading from an rns315. I’ve read that if I install the new canbus before the head unit, it wouldn’t trip the CP. is that true?
