    2014 AUDI A6 AVANT 2.0 TDI Ultra - DPF Issue plus others :(

    So, I'm new to this whole VAG thing so have invested in the Hex-Net as an enthusiastic amature. While I have worked on vehicles for years, I've virtually no experience with the modern electronic systems.

    I've had a DPF issue and hoped this would help work out what is going on. Unfortunately, it seems there are a couple of faults

    My main issue is DPF Bank 1. My local garage is not AUDI but tried 4 forced regens. This dropped everything to fine limits for 5 days before the engine management light was back on. They are stumped and hadn't seen a dual sensor DPF before so aren't sure how to progress or what the fault really is (replace the DPF?).

    Then comes the Instrument Cluster. Seems it has no basic coding?

    Next is the AC. This was fine until a week ago and now won't operate. Is this needing the system refilled or a new sensor and if a sensor, where is it hidden?

    Last is the fuel cap and flap. Seems there's a short to ground and I should check the wiring. Any assistance on the location of the wiring would be appreciated.

    At 110,000 miles, it might indeed be time for a new DPF, or at least a good cleaning.

    Instrument cluster fault: Someone buggered up the values in the Service Reminder channels.

    Tank flap lock: Might be just an open circuit.

    Thanks for the reply.

    Is there a good way to clean out the DPF? Did see a post referring to using cleaning products somewhere...

    As for the instruments, I take it it's back to AUDI to resolve?

    Have you checked the Oil Ash Volume, Carbon Mass (spec.), Carbon Mass (meas.)? DPF readings and health of DPF

    In the UK there are companies that clean DPF's I don't know if they have them in USA.
