Hi

I'm trying to retrofif ACC and Lane Assist but i have several errors
Can someone with lane assist and ACC help me solving those errors?
This is my full scan with vag-com
Code:
Removed. Data from a clone/pirate copy of VCDS is not welcome here.

As you can see
Address 13: Auto Dist. Reg (J428)
5 Faults Found:

Address 17: Instruments (J285) Labels: 5G0-920-XXX-17.clb
1 Fault Found:

Address 3C: Lane Change (J769) Labels: 5Q0-907-566.clb
3 Faults Found:

My gateway is
Address 19: CAN Gateway (J533)

The lane assist is regarding to not have the lamps yet, i think so, but the ACC is regarding to ABS??

Any help please?

Your VCDS is out of date. I'd suggest updating to the latest version.

I think retrofitting ACC does not work without a new Gateway and VAG online access?
Am I wrong?

Sorry, but there's no help here for people using pirated versions of our product.

Go back to them and tell them they are using a pirated copy of VCDS and that Bosch head office wouldn't be happy if they knew...

And just to make things easier for the OP. You cannot just add ACC to MQB car. Unless you get a hacked radar, it will never work. You cannot get the FEC codes needed for it from factory as your car never had ACC.
The outcome is that the radar will always give an error "Disconnected" when the gateway rejects it as it cannot transmit required codes to it.

Also you need to have suitable ABS module for ACC and bunch of other stuff related to it.

MQB cars, with the radar type as in golf MK7, have no problem to retrofit ACC.
See other forums, You cannot do it using VCDS.

Not quite. The radar still needs to be hacked. The Golf round radar is hackable. The straight face radars are not.

The Golf radar if not hacked will still have the same issue, it will not transmit the FEC codes and it is not accepted by Gateway.

Fantastic PetrolDave, you are really funny. :)
I don't have VCDS, i went to a Bosh service and i payed the service, so don't judge me...
If someone want to help i appreciate that, i can't buy VCDS just to code this interface..

Best regards

If you were trying repair a 10 year old car, I could accept that the $200 cost of a legitimate scan might be a problem.

But trying to retrofit systems into a 3 year old car, nope...

You're looking at the cost of VCDS the wrong way - I purchased my first Ross-Tech lead nearly 15 years ago (and updated to a HEX-NET a few years ago) but those leads have saved me MANY TIMES OVER their cost by not having to pay diagnostic fees to VAG garages and being able to repair my own vehicles (and those of family & friends, even non-VAG vehicles using generic OBD mode). Oh and let's also take into account the amount of free beer I've earned doing tweaks to owners I've met through various internet forums.

Used wisely buying VCDS can be a positive investment not a cost.

Hi
All of you have valid arguments...i know that
But when someone told me to install the ACC nobody told me that i will have to figure out how to code that.
I simply buy the cable from a know german company...and the sensor for my car.
When i went to Bosh to make the final step....i payed and they didn't finish the job since i had protection component, i went to audi dealer and they removed the protection but i still stuck.
So i think everyone can see that i have valid arguments...it wasn't my fault this cracked VCDS...
If you want i can show you the bosh invoice.
Hope all of you can forgive me....
*About this software how much does it cost and where to buy?

Thank you
