Question Touareg 2011+ (7P) indirect TPMS with ABS retrofit activation ?

    Hello
First sorry for my English I'm French
I'm new on the forum I own a used Touareg V6 TDI from 12/2011 witch came from Germany.
I think of buying a VCDS cable to enable the indirect TPMS using ABS system on my car because it hasn't TPMS direct system with sensors and receiver.
And it's dangerous to drive with begining flat tire without any indication...
Before buying it I would be sure that's possible to code the ABS module and the others electronic parts needed.
I know it's possible with lot of other VAG cars so I keep hope.
Did someone succeed...? Or is it enable by VW in other countries and someone has this option?
Thank you very much for your help

I am not at all sure that the ABS used in the 7P supports indirect TPMS.

The engineering problems are likely insurmountable. It would be like proposing to land a rocket booster section on a barge floating in the middle of the ocean.

Can't comment on your VW model specifically, however...
If I remember correctly, on 4WD Audi A6 4F 2009+ models there is not an option to enable Indirect TPMS without installing a control module and links to the ABS sensors. The standard ABS does not support this function.
The A6 retrofitting instructions for Indirect TPMS are here:

    http://forums.audiaddicted.fr/index....toring-system/

On some 2WD A6 models, Indirect TMPS could be enabled in the ABS module without any retrofitting.
Here is a link to a forum discussion on the topic:

    https://audiforum.us/threads/tpms-2009-a6-anyone.12016/

I appreciate that this is all A6 information and not Touareg but hopefully some of it will be helpful.
