To be fair to Holden, the cars it designed and built were much better than the crap the brought in and rebadged from Daewoo etc.

I think long term though, they were never going to be sustainable and we all knew that years ago... the govt just didn't work it out in time.

3 grams per tonne of ore is not exactly a "rich" deposit, and 3000 tons are about 4 years worth of Indian gold imports...
