Hoping someone can help me out.......
I have a 2006 EOS 2.0 FSI which has recently developed a fault where the trunk, roof and sunroof all fail to operate, like there is no power to any of them. I did some checking yesterday and can confirm that there is a 12V supply to one of the connectors on the roof controller. However, I also discovered that the high level brake light has been letting in water and there were signs of corrosion on a couple of the electrical connectors - nothing too bad and they cleaned up quite easily with a small brush and some switch cleaner.
I have purchased and registered a Ross-Tech HEX-V2 and downloaded the latest VCDS software. My log file is as follows........
There are quite a few faults showing which I will investigate in time, but I'm particularly concerned with the convertible top control module (J256) which shows as 'no signal/communication'. Obviously without being able to communicate with it, I'm struggling to diagnose my roof issue.
