How do I get the Mirror Fold function on the MMI?

My car is a MY2014 Audi RSQ3 (8U) with 3G+ MMI.

Having successfully coded the front door modules to fold the door mirrors on locking, and unfold on switching the ignition on, I would like to be able to control this function in the MMI.

I have seen it on other models, and am told by another Q3 owner that he has this function in the Car Systems>Central Locking menu. Something like this (an image I stole from another forum):

A big thanks to Dana for sending me a label file for the 5F control unit, and I have enabled Byte 7, Bit 4, re-booted the MMI, but get no such menu item appearing.

Has anyone done this, or any ideas about what I am missing?

Hi,

this should be possible to enable in the so called "Green Menu" / "Hidden menue".
Have a look at adaptation channels of your unit 5F, there is something like developers menue (channel no 6). Set it to 1 and restart your MMI.

Then enter the hidden menu by pressing CAR + SETUP together where CAR should be pressed very slightly before SETUP. Hold them down until the green menu appears. If you're not successful with it, have a look at Youtube.
Then navigate to car --> cardevicelist --> and check the "Mirror" option.
Leave the menu list via Return, restart your MMI.

Menu option for mirror folding should now be present.

Many thanks for the reply, but I had tried that method before and it did not work.

I just looked again using the Green Menu, and found that the car>cardevicelist>mirror option was already checked. Enabling Byte 7 Bit 4 must have had the same effect.

Any other suggestions would be most welcome.

Do you have the carbusassignment menu option in your "car" section? (Hidden menu)

If yes, assure that "Mirror" is set to CAN Komfort.

Yes, I have canbusassignment. I set Mirror to CAN Komfort, re-booted with "3 finger reset", but still no Mirror menu item....

Just to be sure I coded the doors correctly (not that I think it would make a difference to 5F):

I coded 42 Drivers Door and 52 Passenger Door
Byte 4 Bit 6 changed from 0 to 1.

Hi Richard, can you by any chance send my the label file you have got for the 5C. I have a RSQ3 as well, where the label files are pretty limited.
