Is there any tablets that work with vag-com. If so which ones?

Pretty much any tablet that runs a real Windows (these days typically Windows 8.1) should work. Tablets running Windows RT do not work.

One thing to look for (or at least take into consideration) is whether a tablet has a full-sized USB port. Some of the Windows tablets now on the market have micro USB ports, which would require an "OTG" adapter in order to be able to connect to a normal USB peripheral device.

I got a Dell Venue with the intention of using it with HEX-USB
THEN I was traded out of it (for beer, LOTS of beer) since I had 2 HEX-NET on my bench

Can confirm tablets work well with current version but haven't tried the OTG yet.
OTG must be an acronym for expensive teeny cable....
