Hi,

I would like to ask when more accurate map for 5Q0-937-084 will be available? I have Tiguan AD1 model year 2018 and when downloaded csv admap from this ecu I'm missing some codings, for example I should be able see codings for all lights like front blinkers and front lights but they are missing indicated as not active despite they are working. Examples - 0 BLK VL B36 - left blinker, 1 BLK VR B20 - right blinker, for both I have for all functions from A till F value "not active" but this should be not the case as blinkers are working and default coding for them is "Blinken links (rechts) hellphase" which is in reality the case otherwise they would not work. So I suppose VCDS is not able correctly read those adaptation values. I have used VCDS Beta 17.12.

Thanks,

David

You will most likely have a LCM in your car and that‘s why those channels are not enabled. This is not a problem of VCDS.

LCM?

Uwe - Does that need adding to the Forum list of TLAs?

Could you please specify how I will find such module? All light related codings for Tiguan 2 are done via Central Electronic module on address 09.

Yep, Light Control Module. Those are commonly used in the Tiguan II for everything the two front headlights are doing.

Hi TBAx,

I have checked adaptation channels of LCMs and also Lights addresses D6,D7 and 29,39. There are no adaptation channels like on Central electronics - 09. So my question now is how you could recode front lights in case of need? Will they react when I change functions for front lights from not active to something specific like blinker in Central electronics?

Thanks,

David

Hi David, as far as I know, it's not available to change anything regarding the lighting of the headlights. Those modules don't deliver much... maybe because they are built by Mitsubishi. :x

david, what dou you want to change?
If it comes to headlight capabilites, module 4B offers these things as a replacement of module 55.

Currently I'm not tryting to change anything I was just curios how is that possible that those settings are not coded in central electronic, I will check later what are options in 4B. Thanks. David
