Audi A6 4F DRL via fog lights

I have Audi C6 4F Avant, 3.0 TDI quattro, 2007 with Xennon headlights and light and rain sensor. There are numerous posts on forums and youtube where people change last number in coding in 09: Cent. Elect. to 0xxxxx4 (country: Canada) and DRL's are working via fog lights. Unfortunately, this is not working in my case. Whatever last number I code, there is always DRL via standard DRL's in main headlight.

Here I have problem - previous owner fried something (in dealership service they say it is controlhead for frontlights, I do not remember code right now), because instead of changing damaged headlight, he changed bulbs, which were dead after short time he changed. That was consequence of burned isolation on the headlight. After left DLR stopped working, he disconnected the right DLR and drove with the HID headlights in the day time. When I bought the car first thing I have healights replaced. But that did not made left DLR working, but error in DIS was gone. There is no error in DIS, and no fault code in VCDS. Went to dealership, and they said that controller is fried, and replacement is 500 €. All other lights are working fine. So, in order to circumnavigate the problem, and save 500 €, I want to run DLR's via foglight. Wht I am doing wrong with coding?

Found the solution, accidentaly.

So, there is a way to have DRL via fog lights on A6 C6 (4F) with xennon headlights! Last winter was still on manual switching ordinary xennon during the day (in Croatia is obligatory to have DLR only from October to March). Now determined to solve the problem have changed DLR bulbs to LED thinking maybe there is different controller for LED and both sides will work. It was just a guess and try costs just two cheap LED bulbs. After that have changed coding for Central Electronics, 4th digit, from 2 = Bi-Xenon Headlights to 5 = LED Daytime Running Lights with Headlight Washer System.

It was logical to me to report different type of bulbs to the computer and expected to work one bulb and hoping that maybe will work both. But, hey - it changed the DLR form headlight to fog light! And everything works fine. The fog light bulbs are not LED, are ordinnary halogen bulbs, but anyway - under weird setting is hidden switching DLRs to foglights on xennon wersion of Audi A6 C6 :-D :-D :-D
