2010 A6 Rear View Camera not showing in reverse

    Hello all,

I installed a rear view camera in my 2010 Audi A6 I used the directions posted by iaflyer sometime ago. The module shows the camera is there, but nothing shows in reverse. I travel alot for but will be home for extended period and would to try and wrap this project up. Attached my scan from today.

After some more reading it appears that I need to go to Address 5F, byte 07-bit 1, to turn the camera function on in the MMI. However when I try to do this with VCDS I get an error message that the coding is out of range.

Any help would be great thanks

    Hi

Please can you post a full autoscan.
Secondly, out of range error usually refers to a module not having the right/applicable software allowing execution. This can usually be rectified in 2 ways: 1. A software update is available for that module. You can check this on erwin or ask your dealer. 2. You'll need to upgrade the module to a later version.
