Golf GTI MK7 MQB gearbox Basic Settings?

    Hi,

I would like to know if the procedure listed here:

    http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index...rbox_(DSG/02E)

Is also valid for the new MQB 0D9 Golf GTI MK7 6 speed DSG?

If not, where can I find the correct groups and procedure?

I'm using the latest 14.8 beta VCDS and K line cable. Thanks!

It's unlikely that procedure is correct. Please post an Auto-Scan so we can see exactly what your TCU looks like.

Since that tranny uses the UDS protocol and ODX data, I'm certain that the 02E procedure does not apply. To start with, there are no "Groups".

I don't know if anyone has developed (and tested!) a procedure for your tranny yet.

UWE, I tried to but I could only locate the number on the about screen, my cable was given to me by a friend that sold his Audi and moved to another country.

He told me he did not register it, he could not locate the blue certificate and the label in the cable is gone. Any other way to do it? There is a yellow label with a long number in the cable tho.

I see it shows CHHB on that short scan so VCDS does show engine codes, this was asked about the other day. On my scans it just shows CBB so there is a B missing.

VCDS can only show you what the car is willing to tell it.
