Glow plugs are new Bosch. After ignition on orange glow led lights very short on cold temperatures below 5.
VCDS: no fault codes, ignition on ->mvb 12 = status: no pre-glow, pre-glow period: 0 seconds.
How to log mvb 12 from ignition off to ignition on? I ask this because if I turn off ignition there is no
signal to controller anymore! I think that there is no ecu output to glow plug controller, but don't know why.
I must test ECT sensor, pre-glow period at cold temperatures, ecu maps... ??

How to log mvb 12 from ignition off to ignition on? I ask this because if I turn off ignition there is no
signal to controller anymore!
Right, ECUs of that vintage refuse to do any diagnostic communications once the ignition is turned off. This is not something that we have any control over.

I might suggest that a volt meter would be the weapon of choice here.

As for ECT: Let car sit overnight. Turn on ignition but do not start engine. Check what the ECU thinks the ECT is in MVB 002.4. It should be within a few degrees of ambient.

You suggest to measure volts on wiring harness of glow plugs?

If everything is in good condtion, why pre-glow period is about 0,5 seconds (very short)? I don't know factory values for pre-glow period.
ECU was remapped, maybe values for glow period were changed.

Glow plugs are good. After disconnecting engine coolant temperature sensor G62 pre-glow period was 1.61 seconds and glow plug system worked well. Now I have G62 sensor fault code signal too high and can't erase fault code. Cooling fans are working all the time. What to do know?
Is it possibile that I damaged engine coolant temperature sensor while disconnecting connector?
Yes, I would start there and work backwards.

Very good chance you have not connected it correctly or have damaged pins or wiring. What is the temperature in live data?

Temperature is about 17-60 C. Maximum about 60, same as fuel temperature.

Still havent't found solution for glow plug issue! Everything seems to be in good working condition. Post-glow phase works, but pre-glow don't work at about 0*C ambient temperature. I tested glow plug with VCDS output test and they work very well, but when ecu should trigger glow plug relay and turn on pre-glowing nothing happens as a wrote in cold ambient temperatues. Does someone had same issue?
I'm supposing that in engine ecu is some kind of disturbance.
