RR4 isn't an engine code. What year is this Tiguan and is it TDI or petrol? The code on the timing belt cover always miss a character off.
When you do an AutoScan the engine code is sometimes shown under the engine scan.

There are loads of Tiguan 2.0 but I don't see TSI they are all TFSI.

The Type Code of the data sticker will give the true engine code and the transmission code. That's on the first page of the service schedule and on the boot floor.

Yes it is true you can take true numbers from sticker...but first three letter of engine number are wrote on upper cover but on this tiguan instead of cct (example) it's RR4...
