Hello.
I just ordered the Ross tech cable. I need some help or how to code the ABS module on my 04 A4 Quattro.
Also with the cable is it possible to turn off the alarm or the beeping when locking/unlocking car?
Thank you

The first step to getting help is to post a full Auto-Scan once you get your cable. That gives important information on what module hardware & firmware is fitted to your car.

Yes, both of those things should be doable on a B6 A4. I would expect it to have a Bosch 5.7 ABS, so have a look at this page and watch the video linked at the bottom.

i read that I can do auto scan and copy the abs module, then paste it on the new one? but i already have the new module installed. I guess i can unplug the new one, and plug it on the old then do auto scan and copy.

Codings on those Bosch 5.7 modules are short enough that Copy & Paste isn't really necessary. However, it would not be a bad idea to see what the old module's coding was. You don't need to do a full Auto-Scan for that; just [Select] -> [03-ABS] and you'll see the coding. If you'd like to save it, go to [Fault Codes] and [Save Codes] even if there aren't any. That will record all of that control module's ID data (including coding).

Let's start with a scan from the car in its current condition.

I believe these would be correct for this car (assuming it has PR code 1LT or 1LF for the brakes):

Scratching head. Never seen or heard of "ad1726" appearing in the coding field for one of these.

In your autoscan, the component information is truncated.

"Component and/or Version: 8E0614517A ABS/ESP allrad 1726" would make sense.

Why the end of the component information is displayed in the software coding field?

Every customer gets one free car-repair support ticket. I'm going to suggest you call us during business hours, open your free ticket, and have someone talk you through this over the phone. You'll need to to have your PC connected to the car when you call.

So I was able to get the correct code under soft code now and under shop# it say wsc00000. I also calibrate steering says ok. And showing no fault code but still have ABS light on.
Btw I also have issue w brake dash light flashing . book says it has to do with low brake fluid but I'm top up to max. I noticed with ignition when the brake light starts flashing it break connection between vsdc for a split second then it starts again
