Mk4 golf Oil warning display

Is it possible to code out the oil warning that comes on the display when the car is first started? I have changed sensor and checked wiring, all seems ok there, if it was possible to code it out I would be happy with that.

Have you actually checked the oil pressure?

Oil pressure warnings should never be ignored!

yes have checked the pressure, its within tolerances when hot cold and at various rev ranges.
The warning has been on the car since I have owned it (2006) but now I have bought vcds I thought I maybe able to code this out

You've had this 2006 Mk4 Golf not the oil warning has been on since 2006, that's along time.
