Hello. Having a bit of an issue with my touareg (2005) wipers. They work almost all the time however from time to time they almost look stuck (when I try to wipe the window they attempt to move up 3 or 4 times however only half an inch of movement each time if that. Only way to resolve the issue is to turn off the ignition and turn it back on again... problem solved. Not very good when living in Scotland and the rain can just come on all of a sudden with no warning! Attached is a VCDS scan which shows some other faults but youl see address 68 showing the wiper error. I know touareg move their wipers when the bonnet is opened however I've checked the measuring block for the bonnet release when this is happening and it shows shut (inactive).
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I don't really want to go throwing money at a new wiper motor if its not that although I know the J400 control module is part of the motor and may require to be replaced.
