MK6 HVAC controls in MK5?

I found the complete heater matrix from ebay very cheap so it didn't matter

You just need to swap 8-10 wires to make everything work. This is a Passat panel.

And you have two motor air recirculation flap? You have visually checked that both flaps move simultaneously and they do that when swapping between recirculation and fresh air mode? And you don't have error codes in clima panel saying flap xxx stuck?
All I got was either the flaps got stuck in the middle of their cycle. They worked ok for a while when I cleared errors with VCDS. After a while they got stuck again.

And boy I tried different tricks to make them work
