Audi S3 2016 auto trans gear selection

Is there a way when your in drive "D" for it to show the gear the car is in like D1,D2 etc just like if you were manually shifting M1, M2 etc.

This is a Canadian s3 not sure if that matters when it comes to coding it.

Going to give the below a shot and see if it works for the s3.

Enable Automatic Gear selection shown in DIS
[02 – Auto Trans] [Adaptation – 10]
Select “Single Gear Display” from top channel drop down menu
Select “D on/S on” from New value drop down menu

Ross-Tech Hex-Net. [02 Auto Trans] -> [Coding - 07] -> [Long Coding Helper] -> Byte 1 -> Bit 1 change 1 to 0. In the helper its listed as "Suppress Gear Display", so your clearing or turning off the suppression of the gear display.

Will post back later and confirm if any of this works.

Wasn't able to get it going...

Providing a full autoscan would help with transmission type. I'm assuming yours is a S-tronic aka DSG, so not sure if it can be coded. Lets start with a full scan.
