Nah, see that's one of the cool things about using a phone that's too large to keep on you most of the time; you actually tend to park the thing on your desk when you're not using it, and hence don't get much separation anxiety when it's not on you. :p

That's why i like my watch. I can view notifications with my phone across the room. Once the watch dies, separation anxiety kicks in.
