There isn't one. For the ACC to display correctly, you need a newer ACC radar, but they have different SWaP/FeC codes. Without finding someone to hack the radar, it can't be done.

OK cool good to know thanks. Yes this car has older 5Q0 radar.
If it's an issue can look into 3q0 or 3qf radars

ok guys i have a situation over here
i retrofit a 7,5 golf with a MIB2 Harman and a digital cluster PN(5G1920791B)
i did the online coding for the cluster all ok
i did remove the CP from harman online all ok
i diddo the hack for the harman to activate maps all ok
MOST cable is connected stright from MIB to cluster....(dont have AMP) so no Y cable but stright cable with 2 connectors
did follow all the coding of theVWVortex All ok only one Problem.....guess what?
No Maps on AID. dont get Navi Option on AID by View tab
Apreciate any help guys

I had similar issue, following bbusato's adaptations. Another user here (I think downtime) suggested the following - which gave me maps in the AID.

Module 5F (Information Electr.) - ADAPTATIONS
ENG122230-ENG142097-Dashboard_Display_Configuration-ability_switch_nav_maps; (make sure this is OFF; bbusato had this as adapting to ON, but with that setting, I had no maps in the AID; changing it back to OFF gave me maps in the AID)

Hello guys, I retroffited AID on my passat b8 2015.
Updated CAN to latest version with (AM). Updated ACC radar to latest version 3Q0 907 561 E.
But still.. the picture of the car moving in AID is stucked behind. What could be the problem? Can it be the camera that is still old in my windshield?

Only newer MRREvo radars support displaying to AID, which require different SWaP codes to your MRRPlus radar.

@IWMTom , my radar now is 3Q0 907 561 E, H05 01S 0196, MRRevo14F made in 14.09.19 so it's pretty new. So it's only about a SWaP code that I don't have?

I believe there is a coding option in 13 radar for 'FPW' however I don't think this is in the label file. And I don't have a suitable car to check. Maybe someone else can confirm/deny this?

How exactly have you installed the radar despite the SWaP code difference?

My initial radar was 3Q0 907 561 B, H04 03S 0130, MRRevo14F made in 29.04.15. So I looked on ETKA, see what is compatible and bought the latest one. Coded online with ODIS - it saw exactly what my car has from the factory and everything was set up pretty fast.

@kamold , after I saw your post I asked a colleague who had ACC and AID from factory to send the coding to me. I tried it and it works! Everything is ok now. So there is a coding in ACC for AID. I don't know which bit exactly but I will write the coding here for anyone who needs it in the future: Coding: 320467D25DFFC728949C8045 .

Greetings!

I finally pulled the trigger on purchasing the VW MK7 MQB AID Active Info Virtual Cockpit retrofit kit (AID, black trim, wiring harness) from EuroZone Tuning for $1400 USD and had it installed at Bill Jacobs VW in Naperville, IL ($650) . . . I was getting the recall on my sunroof drains at the same time so I'm not sure how many hours it took the technician to install.

I hopped in the car and marveled at my $2k investment - I love it!!! It was only after I left the dealership that I realized I didn't have music on; I went to play some music and . . . nothing! No phone calls, no SD card, no Apple CarPlay. I brought it back and the technician spent some time going through stuff. He believed the fiber optic splitter cable was wired improperly so he swapped the In/Out around and everything worked! The only thing that he couldn't get was the Navigation to show in the AID cluster. I was heading out of town on a long trip so, although disappointing, I decided I could live with it. I love my GSW, especially now with the AID! I no longer pine over getting a Volvo v60, mostly because there's none to be found in the US!

I've attempted to follow others in getting this to work but I receive the following error for Module 5F (Information Electr.) - ADAPTATIONS
ENG122230-ENG142097-Dashboard_Display_Configuration-ability_switch_nav_maps, under Stored value: ERROR: Channel Not Available.

I'm not sure if its related but I did upgrade my MIB to an 8" glass display.

Any insight would be much appreciated!

I seem to remember reading on a Skoda Octavia forum (also an MQB platform) that showing maps on the AID needs a MIB2.5 infotainment unit.

Worked just fine on my MIB2 Discover Pro prior to upgrading to MIB2.5.
