What kind of aftermarket radio knows how to show anything in the MFI?

This makes me wonder what kind of messages that radio is putting on your car's network. Have you tried pulling the radio to see if that mights solve any of your issues?

Unlike the other post everything on my car is working and I have a stock red 510. Yet I'm locked out of the module.

Android S150 head unit. Tried disconnecting with no positive result.

OK, still trying to find some sort of common thread here. W/o access to a car that exhibits these symptoms, I'm not sure what else we can do.

Anyone else pull the compass module to install aftermarket radio? Maybe I'll try plugging that back in just to see. Anyone with a functional 2012 GTI willing to post their 09 central electronics (and instruments too?) coding just for comparisons? I'm still convinced i F'd up something in instruments or somewhere else that is keeping me out. This is just too rare.

Found a decent price on a replacement CECM, any trick to coding it? I can access my coding even though I am locked out of the module. Autoscan has it.
