HEX-NET update vcds mobile vs V2.237 config error code -11

I normally check to see if there's an update every month or so and when I downloaded the recent vcds 17.6.0 beta I thought I'd use V2.237 config to check for updates. The update says rod data needed so I download but it always ends with a -11 error code. I've disabled my usb norton scan of drives, disable my firewall. I've tried both usb and net config, accessed by usb cable from my windows 10 laptop. I haven't had a problem with updates before but I've tried every combination that I can think of and it ends with that error code. I also tried vcds 17.1.3 with same result. So I tried using vcds mobile from both my smartphone and windows pc and when I check for updates hex-net reports that everything is up to date. I'm not sure which is correct. Thanks for any help in advance.

That's current / up-to-date software on the Release channel.

As for the ROD data, that's something we realize needs to be improved/fixed still.

We do have a fix for this ready, it addresses issues with updates relating to Windows 10 machines running the latest version (creators update). Please stay tuned 'til we push the fix to the release channel.
