Led Bulbs in License Plate and Error Code

Hello, Newbie here

I just installed 6 different sets of Led bulbs(From the cheap ones to the expensive type) in my license plate(My car is a Seat Leon FR Super Copa 2013) and all of them drop an error code....need help to shut off the error code using the VCDS but don't know how to do it, please help!!

Did you try codding the bcm by checking the bite with cold bulbs diagnose active? Or similar option wich refer to cold bulbs.

In my case: module 09 (Central Electronics), byte 18, bit 0 (I have no led/error so I leave it this way

I assume that your BCM is similar to Octavia III or Golf VII - in that case you have to do the following steps:
-> Controller 09 - Central Electronics
-> 16 - Security Access - enter 31347
-> 10 - Adaptations
Change the 2 channels as:
(1)-Leuchte25KZL HA59-Lasttyp 25 - set to 43 - allgemeine LED
(6) Leuchte25KZL HA59 - Dimmwert AB 25 - set to 127

@Mari: your 09 is quite different from what Mexicano has. Centr.electr/ BCM. For Golf V is OK. For Golf VI: License Plate Lighting w/o Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) [LED Lighting] - this is the byte that have to be changed - marked. If I'm wrong please accept my apologies and I request to admin staff to modify my post.

The controller refused the 31347 Key anywas...

This is a Mk6 PQ35 BCM so the Mk5 (2004-2009) suggestion and screen shot from Mari wouldn't apply to this vehicle and it is older than the MQB/Mk7 suggestion by pronet.

Do NOT modify Byte 18 in this controller! Instead use the Long Coding Helper to enable License Plate Light w/o Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) [LED Light] and disable Lamp Monitoring (Cold) License Plate Lamps active followed by clicking [Do it!] and clearing faults to see if they operate fault-free in this particular BCM.

This is a Mk6 PQ35 BCM so the Mk5 (2004-2009) suggestion and screen shot from Mari wouldn't apply to this vehicle and it is older than the MQB/Mk7 suggestion by pronet.

Do NOT modify Byte 18 in this controller! Instead use the Long Coding Helper to enable License Plate Light w/o Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) [LED Light] and disable Lamp Monitoring (Cold) License Plate Lamps active followed by clicking [Do it!] and clearing faults to see if they operate fault-free in this particular BCM.

Both of the coding bits in question (License Plate Light w/o Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) [LED Light] and Lamp Monitoring (Cold) License Plate Lamps active) were updated in that lbl file back in 2012 (or so). Are you using a current VCDS release and clicking on each of the Byte numbers in row 3) to see the selectable options in all 30 Bytes as explained here?
