2005 Golf AC does not cool

    Hi Folks,

Warm air comes from AC vents..compressor does not engage when turned on. I checked freon pressure, low side reads over pressure (160> PSI), high side reads about 80 psi. Power supply to compressor clutch on pin 1 comes and goes off withing 1 second (just a flash) so compressor doesnt work. The load signal in MVB doesnt change even when AC switch is turned on.
Is the 12V supply provided by a relay or so? Would it be one of those relays under the dash?? I am stuck and would appreciate help in this.
    Thanks.

    Please post a full Auto-Scan.

I'll say I'm not putting a lot of faith in the compressor... and I can't think of running into flip-flop readings like that in my years on the line.

80PSI = to 5624grams which looks like its OK for its system.......Have you tried powering up the Compressor manually and see if the clutch is working fine also check the 8mm bolt which holds the pull they do brake and live the pulley free

    Jeff,

Auto scan below. I also went ahead to power the ac compressor directly with 12V on T2/1 i mean pin 1 but clutch didnt not engage.Im thinking compressor gone bad?
