Analog speedometer to mph?

Like I mention above , if you have Kmh Canada or ROW cluster, you can have MPH only in Advance speed which will be in lover little screen( like on Picture below, this is MPH USA cluster and KMh display in little screen).

Now for Big Screen in Middle , It will always display same as your speedometer is , So if you have KMh , big screen will be Kmh , if you have Mph , it will be Mph.

If you want to have it in Big Screen different lets say in your situation in Mph , that is not possible to do it normal way. It has to be done direct in Software memory , but not possible with VCDS or via Cluster Menu.

I understood the idea, but since the MFI is fully digital, I thought it could be done.
The alternate display is on, but tiny, so it would have been nice to have the full size one.

That's a drag, I was really hoping to be able to do it with VCDS.
Sounds like a dealer only option, I wonder if they would do it.

Nope, Dealer can not do it either, It is something out of the Factory level .
I can do it but you are far a way

Master, you are exactly right, the opposite of what you show is what I am after.

Dallas is too far from me, you are right, too bad it can't be done with VCDS.
By the looks of it, it was easy enough for you and also easy to undo, or else you probably wouldn't have done it.

Darn. If you wanted to tease me, you more than succeeded, I was drooling over your pictures.

Is there any possible solution to do this with VCDS?
Meaning getting the “alternate” unit to display Big?
Jetta stated above that the big display only works in the same unit as the analog dial.

But I am incorrigible optimist...

It worked on my Son's 2011 Golf which only had the small display and in kmh (analogue dial is mph only) we now have large display mph which is switchable to kmh if required.

could always get the white-out and paint the KMPH marks on the analog speedo.

Thank you all.

I can get the dual unit bezels off the web, but I am afraid it wold be a lot of work, with the potential to do some damage and they may not look right.
That is why I was hoping to be able to do it with the MFI.

if your refering to changing the dial cards not that much of a difficult job, needles come off and the cards can be changed quite easily.
