It seems that this model doesn't need vcds to bleed brakes after all. Brakes are bled...
got there in the end, turned out to be a fault with the wiring/plug at the throttle body
had some help, looking for a second opinion. Would you guys agree that the following results from measuring blocks point towards a faulty replacement throttle body?
005 zone 4 tv cal....
it started off with
00516 closed throttle (idle) position switch f60 2700 implausible signal
00532 supply voltage b+ 07-10 signal to low intermittent
after the throttle body clean
i didnt.... sorry jack, it means the code only returns after the engine has been started

Already cleaned the Tb mate, hence the TBA. Going to go for a known working used one and see how it goes. Thanks for the help
narrowed it down to the throttle body, it shows as throttle open on vcds even with cable disconnected. bridging pins 3 and 7 on the throttle body plug changed it to idle

Ive removed the throttle body on a 1.4 16v ahw, cleaned it and refitted. Used a pole to hold...
When I tryed , I wasn't happy with amount of fluid comming from calpiers.. I even tryed eezibleed pressure bleeder, didn't make a difference... What led me to believing vcds is needed
was talking to a polish guy yesterday and a garage when had car in for mot... they both said dont need computer to bleed the brakes, if you can, could any of you confirm if vcds is needed to bleed a...
not sure if the above made sense... if I check 19 one side and 20 on the other it still beeps
as you would have guessed by now, the above has went straight over my head..
i have checked for continuity and there is, checked each wire from one side to another and the multi meter beeped,...
No way of getting the motor to them, I've phoned a few auto sparks , I've explained everything done and also said here.. They would still need to charge a call out, then to use there snap on or Bosch...
