Since you don't know with the selector lever in S mode it sounds like you are confusing Drive Mode with Gearbox Mode - they are completely different.

Try with the selector lever in S mode and...

In VCDS go to 'Options', 'User Interface and Identification' what values do you have in the Code(WSC), VZ/Importer and Equipment Number fields?

Does it happen in all gearbox modes, or only ECO?

Have you tried the gearbox Sport mode?

I presume you mean timing chains? If so what engine do you have, as that makes a difference...

You'll need to post an Auto-Scan for someone to be able to answer that - it all depends IF VAG have included the feature in their firmware...

First thing I would check is the heater plenum chamber drain, if that is blocked water builds up in the plenum chamber and comes out into the footwell.
