2 questions.

I finally became a fully licensed and registered Lite user and I'm trying to get the temp of my transmission but the readiness icon isn't highlighted so I can't use it.

What do I need to do to be able to use this feature?

How do I perform a Throttle Body Adjustment check. I want to make sure it's operating correctly.

Thank you

I have a 2004 Passat GLX V6 with auto

Transmission fluid temperature would be found as follows:
[Select]
[02-Auto Trans]
[Measuring Blocks]
... it will be in the first few blocks somewhere. If you'd like to know exactly where, please post an Auto-Scan so we can see exactly what TCU you have.

There's no "check" for TBA. You just do a TBA. On your ECU it's almost certainly:
[Select]
[01-Engine]
[Basic Settings]
Group 060.
