Connected VCDS with a C7 Allroad today (MY2013) - I discovered that the instrument module (4G9 920 980 B) is not properly configured in the label file (as it takes a redirect from another 4H0 controller if my reading of the label files is correct).
The Coding Byte in question is 09 - this determines the car model designation displayed in centre of instrument cluster when the ignition is turned on or off. I stepped through values 00-09 and can report these findings.

07 – A6 hybrid
08 – A6

I wasn't brave enough to go beyond 09 unless something unexpected happened.

I also noted that the coding group for fuel tank configuration in Byte 02 might be wrong.
