Being not fully satisfied with my dsg that seems to be "sticking" sometimes to the wrong position, I was wondering if it would be worth cleaning / erasing memories. I searched the menues and found something saying : (my english translation...)

- Basic settings of gear box
- Synchro points measurement
- Erasing start up processes
- Set CAN info
- Reinitialize curb of clutch caracteristic
- Reinitialize driving mode by lever position
- Reinitialize datas of speed positionner
- Reinitialize datas of loggings for clutch 1
- Reinitialize datas of loggings for clutch 2
- Reinitialize all autoadaptative values
- Start quick adapt of double clutch

Anyone has an idea on how does that work? How to do something safe here to improve efficiency? The autoadapt has a tendancy to run eco mode at low rev too often and sport mode is going too high in rev... How could that be improve using these function if any possible?

Screenshot of that menu in french :

I have no personal experience with that particular DSG, but I think it's useful for others who might to know which DSG you have. ;)

Also, it might be useful if you would install the English version of VCDS. You can have both English and French versions on your computer in parallel; that way you can post the correct English-language stuff in this English-language forum.
