How do you insert pictures in your posts/threads ?

I still don't understand how to post pictures in a simple way like in lots and lots of other Forums.
Why does it have to be so damn complicated ?
I want to post pictures that I have on my PC's HDD.

Find someplace to host them. There are plenty of free image hosting sites, and we don't need to be one. Then link to the image as described in post #1 of this thread.

The best way to post pictures is to upload them to some photo-hosting site. If you don't use a photo-hosting site, try imgur.com, you don't need to create an account there, you can just drag & drop pictures to it, and they have apps to upload pictures straight from your phone as well.

Once you've uploaded a picture, you'll have a URL for it. Put that URL in between IMG tags in your post, like this:

Or like this:

That will give you a nice photo in your post, kinda like this:

Thank you, I will give that a shot, typically from another forum all I simply do is click on the paper clip or the picture button and then I’m able to select whatever pictures I want and then click add,
but as a new member, you have to post a certain amount of threads before you can upload your first picture. I will go back to my other thread to upload the full code pic thanks again ,

It has nothing to do with being a New Member. Even Verified users can't attach files here. Why? Everything that comes from VCDS is text that can be copied & pasted in-line, and there are several reasons why we do not wish to be a photo or other file hosting site.

If you're trying to post data from VCDS, it's all just text. Just open the saved file with Notepad and copy & paste the contents.

The links you pasted are to Imgur "albums", not actual images.

A link like this is an "album":

The corresponding actual image is:

And if you surround the actual image with IMG tags, like this:
