ABS ECM

I can't believe this 2002 Eurovan/Rialta. I can not find the ABS ECU. Component locator says it's behind the dash, right side.

On a Bosch 5.3, I think it's bolted right to the pump and hydraulic manifold.

I know that's a Passat and not a Eurovan, but the ABS is basically the same.

Location is correct, it will be close to heather-A/C box .

You need to look for something like this :

It is if he has ESP. For classic Bosch 5.3 ABS control module is one unit with pump and valves.
Or something different in NAR vehicles?

Ok I still can't find it. So I followed the brake lines from the master cylinder, both front brakes split off just about the strut rods and the rear two disappear over the fuel tank. Doesn't the block to turn off the brakes have to be between the master cylinder and the calipers?

Then it has never been there or someone removed it...
Then You have incorrect ECU coding, You should change 00013 to 00003

But I have speed sensors on the front wheels and an ABS light on the dash? The search continues.

This does NOT look OEM???
They are just behind the fuel tank on the left frame rail.

I checked today and your car has Electronic stability module like I post picture ending 379F.
So it looks like someone did something to this car .
you need to have this ABS pump unit very close to Master Cylinder like this one :

As far as I can see I have neither of these. I don't understand why someone would remove it at only 57,000 miles. I'm OK with no ABS I made the last 50 years without it. I think this thing just does't like me.
