Hi,

What is this section on the VCDS ? Why it is blocked ? What it needed and how I can gain an access to this section.

I know that maybe I don't need access to that place but let me decide :)

Thanks

Can you please be more specific? What is it you are trying to gain access to?

Security access by itself does nothing. It is like Login in the older controllers. Giving the module an acceptable Login or Security Access code is required for some procedures (this is determined by VW and/or the control module manufacturer, not by VCDS!). Procedures that require a Login or Security access code are normally those that should NOT be carried out without knowing EXACTLY what you are doing. ;)

I want to disable the bulb test.

 Why?

Why not just change a bulb when it blows? The bulb warning is hardly an inconvenience. In 5 years of owning my A4, I've only had to replace one reversing bulb.
