hello

wondering if anyone has any issues with the above fault on a 2003 2.5 TDI Transpoter
we have fitted timing belts to the van and now trying to set up the diesel pump timing via VAG COM

Our VAG COM will not communicate with the engine ECU at all (not recognised) doesn't seem to have 17 or ABS.
We have tried our other diag machine to rule a fault with our VAG COM lead ect, (our machine has been working fine on all other cars)

checked all fuses etc and the diag plug has lives and earths as well.

hoping someone has seen this before

thanks in advance.

So no comms with 01-Engine, 03-ABS, and 17-Instruments? Do you have comms anything at all, such as 25-Immobilzer?

Please unplug the abs module/radio and see if you can com with the 0x01 engine......

or

Unplug one module at a time attempting communications until finding the module responsible for tying up the K line.

We disconnected the radio unit (which was a cheap supermarket job) and it communicated with engine right away.
Big thanks to the above comment.
