Anyone have instructions from a workshop manual for replacing thermostat housing, engine code CBAB? Mine has the housing with 4 connections, not the single connection with thermostat in the block.

Good questions include autoscan/or detailed info about Your car. Probably car is equipped with AT. And I'd suggest You to replace 2 thermostats, if You are fighting low engine temperatures ;)

Auto scan will show there is no faults on the car so of no relevance at all. Temp doesnt hold at 90 degrees, decreases as speed increases for motorway runs, and turning the blowers on full makes it drop too. The car hasnt needed the coolant topping up in the last 4 years either. The fault is diagnosed, just hoping someone had workshop instructions for replacing the thermostat.
