MIB2 Discover Media PQ /picture heavyyy :D

I'm trying to retrofit discover media pq from tiguan 2016/sirocco/caddy/beetle/passat cc 5C0 035 680 to golf 6 2010. So far I have replaced gateway and made an adapter from old to new quadlock connector. I'm waiting for stealership appointment next week to remove cp and I have a friend who activate navi/maps and mirrolink, so we shall see. With software 0359 in standy there are 4 clock's to choose from
I have documented byte 18 which should be simllar to MIB 1/2 devices, and this can be documented, maybe it can help someone too

best of all is that you can combine byte18 logo which will be followed by either fender or dynaudio ex. byte18 07, adapt 00 02
it will show Golf R and second later sound by Dynaudio

for mib devices

set actived
or
adaptation -> (9)-Startup_Screen_Sticker_HMI-Dynaudio
set activated

as always after coding reset device, hold power button 10 seconds

no it doesn't show any info for air conditioning but it could be since i'm using old mk6 climatronic, will check that later

I tryed the same on 2013 car with last gateway, the dealer was not able to disable CP on the radio for the car !

Impossible to match Discovery to car even with latest SW cluster which supports CP.

To turn off the cp must perform a cluster retrofit with part number 5n0920883g sw 1008 gateway 7n0907530 then bg or bc. . . . then he goes off cp in service volkswagen

gone to the dealership, checked the unit, everything is ok, not stolen or blacklisted in GeKo, got the 4 digit code for what i don't know, they are quite busy so had to re schedule for cp removal. Since they are only friendly dealership in region quite far away from me, and low temperatures on highway, while keeping temp in side a car quite high i noticed that display started to "lose contact" since lack of better term after couple of minutes it turned off, black, nothing.... it seems that board is f#$ked.... just my luck

In ODIS, show that the Master dont ask for CP so, the Radio stay locked with CP,
Batter Off/ON, etc.. dont change this,

This has been confirmed many times. Impossible to match CP on car with no CP from factoy. Only maybe if you change identity of car.
Right now only possible way to use discovery is match it to car where CP was available with all option(Carplay, Voice command, navigation etc...) and use EEPROM patch. This way you use the runtime limit of 8hours of CP, it won't let write anything to EEPROM and it re-reads the content every time you start the Discovery.

talked to a guy and he confirms this story, also he says in my case it could be that software crashed because of playing with coding, so i'm in hunt for firmware to try to update to restore functionality, any info will it allow firmware update with cp active?

I installed the media discover PQ of vw tiguan. to disable cp I went to a company that disabled me this type of protection. . Now it all works from the navigator ,. voice commands, ops.
