downloads.ross-tech.com does not exist today, 9/5/22. Yes tried two different computers
So unable to update Hex-v2

So just ignore and attempt to update, but it gets stuck at "Network Error" could not connect to server, test failed. However here I am posting messages and doing other inter work so ????

However, there might be an issue with one of the server instances for interface firmware updates. I'll see if I can get someone to reboot it.

Uninstalled program 3-4 times and when trying to download and update config I get some movement but goes to not responding. Both boxes public and private are checked in firewall settings. Painfully frustrating is putting it mildly.

Hi, does the hex v2 cable work with the car? are you just trying to update the firmware?

You wrote on the forum that you want to use a MacBook, do you use a MacBook and something like VMware? VCDS won't work properly and that's why there's a problem with the FW update.. I'm just guessing

More details please. What kind of computer? Can you post a screen-shot from VCIConfig please?

The updates should not take more than a few minutes (except for DS updates on a HEX-NET, which might take longer) and the update should not error out. If you are having such problems with updating, it indicates a problem with your PC or software perhaps something like antivirus software interfering with the flashing.
