Blocked Work Shop Code (WSC) in Address 09: Cent. Elect.

Last Saterday I read out a Skoda Octavia build 2006
First I made a autoscan and I saved the file.
Then it was the meaning to change a light setting in module 09.
When changing a bit and want to save this setting there is a fault code that the number of the WSC is incorrect.

This is a part of the scan:

The problem is that the numer 789888 is out of range.

How can that be changed?

Hmm, I wonder what tool was used to put those values in? Importer 999 is Canada, and there are no Skodas in Canada.

Anyway, if the fields are grayed out on the Coding screen, like this:

Then the work-around is to put plausible numbers into VCDS on the Options screen, in the User Interface and Identification tab, like this:

After you do that, use [Save], then exit VCDS and restart it.

Once you do that, VCDS will always use those values. To reset it to Stealth mode, you'll have to delete its the VCDS.CFG file.

I was also wondered by the WSC because I am a registrated VCDS user in Netherlands Europe. My first idee was the driver let made these codings by an user whit a not official VCDS dongle but that he couldn't tell me because he let do this coding by a person in 2012 (he said)
