2012 A8 4H 34 level control coding

We have a 2012 A8L in the shop that the owner "tried" lowering by himself with help from friend with a "scanner". Control unit is not coded along with other issues. Could someone help me with coding this module? I am hoping that he did not "reset all adaptations". Could not get a clear answer on this.

2012 A8l- 34(level control) coding

We have a A8 4H in the shop that has issue with the level control. Customer attempted to lower the car with help from a friend with a "scanner". I have a feeling that "reset all adaptations" was selected. Codes for no coding and incorrect coding. I tried change all variables in long coding with no success. Long time user of VCDS, however this is my second post and Im not sure how to add the entire quick test. Any help with the coding would be appreciated

I did try all three of those coding numbers, it says coding accepted but I still get the fault codes.

The coding itself seems OK. However, the module may not like the 12345/123/12345 WSC/Importer/Equipment combo.

The "No End-of-Line Programming" fault code is quite puzzling.

Although I thought I'd seen it somewhere, I can't find a procedure for recalibrating the ride height off-hand. Hopefully someone else will chime in on that.

Yea, i noticed that too. I tried to change it in options with the same numbers I found in the other modules(02391 785 00200). When I input the coding it shows the numbers I entered at the bottom but after coding is accepted and It returns to main level control screen and it reads 123 12345???

The coding value of [008002] is the correct, based on the VIN number.

After you have correctly coded the [34-Level Control] controller, please have a look and follow the 'Re-adapt Adaptive Suspension to default position' procedure below, if this works as expected, the fault codes should clear.

- Use a Battery maintainer
- Vehicle on level surface
- No persons or gear in Vehicle
- Nothing under vehicle
- Door are to remain shut

Using the MMI (under [Car]) the following needs to be set-
- Air Spring Wheel Change = [off]
- Automatic Drive Program = [auto] or Audi Drive Select (under Car menu)

Select - [34-Level Control]
Login or Security Access - [20103]

[Basic Settings - 04]
- Choose - [Delete calibration for level control] - Press [Go!]
- Wait for basic Settings to End (Finished Correctly), then press [Stop]

[Basic Settings - 04]
- Choose - [Start up to reference level] - Press [Go!]
- Wait for basic Settings to End (Should run for 30 seconds or so), then press [Stop]

Measure the ride height, in millimeters, from the center of the wheel to the edge of fender, do this for all four wheels and record the values.

[Adaptation - 10]
Choose from the drop down menu and enter the [New value] recorded value for each of the wheels below, then press [Do it!]
- [Body height left front wheel house edge]
- [Body height right front wheel house edge]
- [Body height left rear wheel house edge]
- [Body height right rear wheel house edge]

Reference only - Do not enter these values, see above.
D4 Audi A8 (4H):
1BK standard running gear:
Specification, front axle = 410mm
Specification, rear axle = 405 mm

[Basic Settings - 04]
- Choose - [Calibrate level control] - Wait for basic Settings to End

[Basic Settings - 04]
- Choose - [Activate level control] - Wait for basic Settings to End

Measure the ride height again and verify the values are within 3mm of the displayed values in Advanced Measuring Value Blocks.

Using the MMI verify the following setting -

Clear ALL fault codes and re-check for fault codes, road test vehicle.

I entered the standard running gear numbers 405/410. I tried looking for voltage numbers from the sensors because I am concerned that the length of the "links" is not correct although i feel that it should accept it.
