I did try it that way as well as several other numbers with the same result. Even with the correct coding I still get the "no/incorrect coding error as well as the "no end of line programming' fault. I am going to put this one aside for now to get on to other work, I will report back with any new information. Thanks again for everybody's help.

Time for a module if you maybe can't brute force the sensors into a static position on lift disconnected from suspension & to force a parameter tolerance.

We had a similar inquiry today. The shop we worked with got a 2013 A8L from another shop with unknown original fault codes and all we know is a few level sensors were replaced. They are digging to see if a scan was saved in the original condition and if any additional parts were replaced.

I won't post the entire scan for privacy reasons. This was the 34 condition when we received the scan from shop #2:

The coding was all zeros so 008000 -and- Shop #: WSC 12345 123 12345 were performed with VCDS. Even though that coding was correct, the module still refuses to clear U1013 00 - Control module not coded - Confirmed. I even had him enable Trailer installed (incorrect) coding with a 444 Importer code which caused function restriction issues but that didn't help the U1013 cause.

He could only get through the first few steps:
Using the MMI (under [Car]) the following needs to be set-
- Automatic Drive Program = [auto] or Audi Drive Select (under Car menu)

Select - [34-Level Control]
Login or Security Access - [20103]

[Basic Settings - 04]
- Choose - [Delete calibration for level control] - Press [Go!]
- Wait for basic Settings to End (Finished Correctly), then press [Stop]

.. Start up to reference level resulted in an error with C10C8 - Function Shut-Off Active.

I suspect a leak or faulty compressor - but No End-of-Line Programming might be the cause instead. Battery Jesus, inflating, deflating the suspension in addition everything else he attempted before calling wasn't successful.

Even though we did not succeed and the vehicle is probably headed to the dealer we did determine "Air Spring Wheel Change", including similar service/Jack mode, MMI options were not available. Searching Advanced Measuring Values for "Jack" resulted in on/activated feedback from various groups. He was able to put the shifter into Reverse, back into Park and the jack mode deactivated per Advanced Measuring Values.

If I have anything else to add I'll post here but I wanted to comment on Jack Mode at the least. I think these cars would automatically come out of that mode when VSS is present - however I didn't have him move the car after a simple slip to Reverse and Park made the values change.

Did you have the OP or the other customer above aforementioned, remove the sensors from the control arms, and than relax the sensors manually at full stop, then do calibrations by manually manipulating the sensors to desired positions?

If the sensors are not seeing the bottom out or full sweep point anticipated ........I have seen stuff like this happen.

I did not Jack. Since shop #1 in the above example replaced sensors - I certainly should. We're nearing closing time but I'll try to give him a ring in the AM or drop an e-mail. Thanks!

No problem ..........You will note I will keep saying this in regards to suspension electronics or air rides, because sometimes modules act weird unless things are not a specific criteria.

A recode after bottom out and terminal 15 wake + hot boot maybe in order.

HOT BOOT

Plugging a control unit in after being recoded and leaving key in ON position.
Then shutting key off and waiting 30 seconds for new baseline.

I know this is kind of old thread but I accidentally hit CLEAR ALL ADAPTATIONS,is there any way to undo this or do I have to go to the dealer?When I try recalibration of the height I gives me that error when calibrate level in basic settings is activated.Up to that point everything seems to work

I didn't want to offend anyone and not trying to start pissing contest.Yes I know year ago I asked for a help with height sensor which I couldn't figure out which one was causing my air ride to screw up,but for 4 months last summer it never set the code and I just didn't have time to deal with it.In winter time started doing again same thing,first once a week then once a day and that's the reason I changed RF height sensor (looked more loose then the rest).After that I wanted to calibrate height of the car but like I said I "Cleared all adaptations " and now it won't accept coding or calibration.I didn't even know that code for sensor was back because that code wasn't there when I was trying to do that calibration (must've set on the way back home ) and when I sent you auto scan I never looked into it to see if there was new codes so obviously the sensor I replaced wasn't the problem.
I'm not an expert in running VCDS on 4H series of A8 as this is the first one that I ever even scanned so I know I screwed up with clearing all adaptations but I was simply asking if you can help me code it and calibrate it without going to the dealer.And I would pay for that help as well.
I live in Saskatchewan,Canada and there is probably 4 vehicles like this in 10 000 square miles so not to many "experts" to ask for advice.
Once again sorry if I offended anyone.

It's just simple.............. adaptations can't take place in this module when a fault is present..............

Fix/replace the sensor then recode and start over.

Don't clear values in modules, unless you know what it is you are doing or at the very least make a backup of all the data.

FYI: I saw no reason to take your offered money in an email, not for this....... but if people contact me there they are expected to follow the rules & to the letter.

I just had to search your posts and saw your old scan ........that is why we JPPSG!

Even I have violated my own rules and it bites me in the ass most times when I do.

Don't take short cuts and don't do things half ass........ even the process..........understood?

I tried to change wsc to original and to recode and do adaptation cause when i clear codes that one 455692 is not coming back but again same outcome with sequence request error when I try to calibrate level control.I know you said to fix that sensor first but just thought i should try it aagain as that code is not there.Here is fresh auto-scan after clearing all codes and trying to recode and recalibrate

Hi, on my Audi A8L 2012 I get "Request Sequence Error" when entering the measured value in " [Body height left front wheel house edge]". I am now unable to complete a calibration as a result of this. Any ideas of why I would get this error.

Hi, I wanted to post an update of my situation regarding my suspension level problem that persists on my 2012 Audi A8. The car sits about an inch lower on the left side (driver side). Since my last post, I have replaced the "OEM Air Ride Control Solenoid Valve Block" and the 4 level control sensors. The situation has not improved. I have attempted to perform the calibration and I am stuck at the "Startup to Reference Level" step which terminates with "Aborted Safety Reasons". I have attempted multiple times to no avail. What's unusual is that I was able to get past this step before replacing the sensors. At this point, I am out of ideas. Any suggestions welcome. Also, I'll be willing to pay someone with expertise in this forum to assist me remotely.

Your help is greatly appreciated.
