Wondering if anyone has had this issue

We have a 2011 Seat Ibiza that's needing a new airbag control module.
In the past we have coded them no problem by enetering the 3 digit code on the new control unit box (in this case A05)
(the help screen on the VDCS explains this too) but there is no where for this code to be entered.

Its asking for a long coding, its like the software on VDCS has been updated but the help is still reffering to the old info

Can anyone help

You are only using 2 last digits/characters for index!
For index 05, Coding is: 003035

Hi,

Did you happen to see the Long Coding Helper on the coding page of the VCDS scan tool while in the [15-Airbag] controller.

- If you are still having concerns, please provide some screen shots and post a complete Auto-Scan of the vehicle.

Thank you

Big thanks to the above. Entered the code 003035 and all is well.

The long code helper kept wanting to code the new unit to 005454.

But thanks again.

Thanks for the update! I suspect this was one of those 6R0 series VW10Airbag controllers and we identified the exact problem with the automatic coding suggestion. That will be fixed in a future release to the user can type his actual Index code into the Manual Index Input box like this:

Edit; If you happen to have a scan before and after coding saved please post it so we can confirm the Component and/or Version details.
