Audi A4 , 1.9 tdi, 2004, no any communications

Hi folks, trying to run scan on car - Audi A4 , 2004, 1.9 Tdi, nothing comes on screen. cable connected , light green/yellow flashing, no scan at any address, no any information retrieved, even tryed scan all addresses (XX - all addresses) , nothing.

Car starts and drives, no errors on dash. No remote working, wanted programm remote after replacing comfort module(doors locks from key in driver doors).

I had never chance scan that car before.

What could be a problem ?

What does test interface report in VCDS configuration screen when running the test?

Check power and ground on diagnostic socket, check continuity of K line wire from diagnostic socket to instrument cluster. Disconnect aftermarket radio, if it is there. Disconnect ABS module. Jack already mentioned Test option in VCDS. Report back all of those.
Why Central convenience (Comfort) module needed to be replaced? Water damages? If yes, check 09 - Central electric - for water damages, too.

what color is K-Line wire ? Does it have same color from all electrical units ?

Ill get to that car after couple days, ill test it.

Traditionally gray with a white tracer, but the only way to be sure is to check wiring diagrams for the specific car you're working on.

On this car K-line wire from diagnostic socket pin 7 to instrument cluster T32a/23 has green/red color marking.The same wire goes to other modules connected directly to K-line - Central convenience (J393), ABS/ESP (J104), etc.
