SSP's say FSI = Fuel Stratified injection. Which is a bit weird really...


None of the turbo FSI engines ran stratified mode, to my knowledge... There were plenty of Natually Aspirated MK5 2.0 FSI's that ran it though (AXW, BLX, BVX), but the later ones (mostly '06 model years up) were available without stratified mode (and the NOX storage cat) on some engine codes (BLR and BVY).
None of the EU2 models(BLY, BVZ) ran stratified or EGR, only had 2 Lamdas and lower compression.

The BVY engine was in both my Tourans - the best EU4 code: no Stratified, no MAP control thermostat! But the BUB R32 VR6 is better still

I had to go find out about the 1.4 and 1.6 Naturally Aspirated FSI's now... Turns out they all ran stratified, except one - the BLF 1.6

AFAIK the difference between FSI badges and TFSI is the other badges on the car - I've only seen TFSI on Audi's despite the same turbo-charged engine being used in other VAG brands.

Most of these aren't general VAG acronyms, they are Porsche terminology not used in any other VAG brand and/or even contradicting other actually standardized VAG terms.
