Question about alarm event.

Hi I have had different Ross-Tech scanners since 2002 and I find them very useful. I currently have a HEX-USB+CAN.
I have a 2015 VW Jetta TDI I am trying to find out if the computer in the VW logged Vehicle tampering (Jimmying a locked door open).

Background: My car was towed and the Tow Company by law has to report the tow, Date and time. They say it was towed at a 10:34 PM but my home video shows it at 9:54PM and Dash Cam video shows them parking it the tow lot at 10:34PM. (the amount of memory allotted to parking video recording was too small to show the full drive) I just purchased 128 GB SD Memory so now that will not be a problem. I'm just getting all the evidence that shows how shoddy they run the towing company. They also removed property from my vehicle.

Can I find when the vehicle alarm event was triggered? (When they opened the car when it was locked) My video shows it was opened once by my home and once at the tow lot) I was wondering it the alarm going off is stored in the computers computer? If so where and what do I look for so I can print out that log event?

Not sure where I should have started this thread.

Oh I did do a scan an I did not see anything about Alarms or anything of that sort. :(

I think it only stores the source of the alarm, not the time of the event, but I'm not certain.

Post up an Auto-Scan please so people can see exactly what control modules your car has.

Hah! I was wrong.

Please go to 09: Cent. Elect and look at measuring blocks 020 though 023. There you should have data on the last four alarm sources.

The first field should be the source itself, and it's decoded as follows:
; 0 = Driver's Door
; 1 = Passenger Door
; 2 = Rear Left Door
; 3 = Rear Right Door
; 4 = Rear Lid/Tailgate
; 5 = Engine Hood
; 7 = Trailer
; 9 = Unauthorized Terminal 15
; 10 = Interior Monitoring
; 11 = Inclination Sensor
; 12 = Alarm Horn
; 19 = Power On Reset
; 21 = Central Locking Alarm Delay Drivers Side
; 255 = No Alarm Recognized

The second, third and fourth fields should be the Date, Time, and Mileage respectively.

This is the data that was in 09: Cent. Elect and look at measuring blocks 020 though 023.
I have video (Home Security and DashCam) of them towing my vehicle, I know the times. Now looking at the data the newest alarm must always get logged in Block 20 and it must write that data to the next block when a new alarm is triggered. Because I do know that the two alarms happened around 22:31 and 21:58.

1 Anti Theft System 1st Alarm Source << Passenger Door
2013:14:09 1st Alarm Source Date << No idea why it says 2013:14:09 I figured it should be 2016:20:06 YYYY DD MM
22:31 h 1st Alarm Source Time << Time is about when the alarm goes off at the end of the DashCam video +/- a minute
16160 km 1st Alarm Source Mileage << converted to miles = 10041.358 is about right.

Makes me wonder why the Date information is so off?
