Dear all,

Having this problem with a Seat Toledo that is trowing the following fault codes from time to time toghether with engine running rough for a few moments.

Code:
Address 01: Engine Labels: Redir Fail!
Control Module Part Number: 036 906 034 BD
  Component and/or Version: MARELLI 4LV 3550
           Software Coding: 00031
            Work Shop Code: WSC 00046
                      VCID: 55A14858AF6CD9B6981-4B50
5 Faults Found:

16684 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
            P0300 - 35-10 - - Intermittent
16686 - Cylinder 2
            P0302 - 35-10 - Misfire Detected - Intermittent
16687 - Cylinder 3
            P0303 - 35-10 - Misfire Detected - Intermittent
17751 - Ignition Coil Power Output Stage 2
            P1343 - 35-10 - Shorted to Ground - Intermittent
16706 - Engine Speed Sensor (G28)
            P0322 - 35-10 - No Signal - Intermittent

Readiness: 0010 0001

Same fault codes are apearing in a day or two of driving. Thinking first that the engine speed sensor might cause this misfires and I changed it with a new one, but same faults over and over again.

Can be the coil pack faulty? If so why is the engine speed sensor fault present?
Is the sensor ok but is not reading impulses from the crankshaft from time to time?
Can be the magnetic ring from the crankshaft oil seal loose?
Any of you had encountered this issues?

Kind regards,
Mircea

Check air gap and proper fit of the G28.....

Clearly a fault with coil packs and power stage for switching the packs.....check grounds/supply voltage and trigger wires to the power stage/coil packs.
