Kessy issue and Battery Drain

Hi,

I have an Audi S4 B8 2010. Recently my Subwoofer had a short to ground error in Module 47, and the next day I had 05 Auth Access error, which said "Acc and Auth Aerial Left, Short to Ground". This is the R200 antenna in the left door. I ordered a new antenna from Audi. However after installing it, the fault code remained. (Cleared the code, tried to use Advanced key, came up with Convenience key defective error, and the same DTC as above re-appeared). However if disconnected the antenna, it correctly gave an "open-circuit" fault instead of short to ground. I also seem to be getting battery drain issue. I replaced my battery with OEM spec Varta (110 ah/920 amp) but I am still getting Energy Management DTC, which makes me think something is still draining my battery (most likely CCM). So a few questions please:

1. Am I correct to assume that Kessy module (J518) is part of CCM (BCM 1.1, J393) and is located in the trunk right hand side? I have UK model. CCM part number is 8K0907064DQ. Etka link here: http://etka.cc/audi/part_single/cat.../909/subcategory/909000/part_id/256744/lang/e

2. Is there a way to repair the kessy module? I know there is a repair guide online, which involves replacing a couple of MOSFETs and 6 resistors. However that module looks different to mine (3D0)

So is my kessy or CCM unit repairable in the same manner as the one in the above link? I am desperately looking for help please. Audi will most likely charge me over £1000 to have my CCM replaced, so I would like to explore all avenues before I go down that route.

I don't ....................... see anything in the Auto-Scan that makes me think [XYZ] is draining the battery.

As for the fault code in the Kessey:

03283 - Antenna for Access & Start Authorization; Left
007 - Short to Ground

This is the R200, it looks like the wiring for this does go to a T27b connector at the bottom of the left B pillar.

G200 /1 = blue to T27b/17 to J393 T32e/12
G200 /2 = grey to T27b/5 and from there a green wire to J393 T32e/11

I'd double check the wiring ........................ the wiring from the G200 to that T27b connector.

As for checking for the drain on the battery, you are going to need to lock the car up and start checking your voltage drops across fuses:

Thanks. I am going to a place called HazzyDayz tomm to have my CCM replaced or looked at. I will check the wiring and fuses over there. Just pulled out the PCB inside my CCM today and there are faint marks on the it from water damage. To give a bit of history:

I had the car tinted about 5 months ago. A week ago, the car was parked up for a couple of hours, and when I came back, the subwoofer stopped working. The next day my Kessy stopped working. I had an energy management fault active, so I also fitted a new battery. Just out of curiosity, I opened the cover on left side of the trunk which houses my amp, and to my horror, I found that the guys who tinted my car had stuffed bubble wrap and tissue papers all around the amp. So the amp was basically cooking in there while I was rocking the sub! This combined with faint water marks on the CCM PCB made me think that the CCM has gone bust. Funny enough all my speakers work fine, so I am assuming a certain part inside the amp blew up?

Quick update. Tried using a fresh wiring room and that did not help. So ended up replacing the module. All is working fine now. Hopefully that has sorted the battery issue. If not, will have to recheck..
