None auto wipers

a4 b7 When using the wipers because of rain, should my windscreen wipers park when the ignition is turned off.

Hi Alan, I'm not sure that I understand the issue. The wipers should park at the base of the windscreen when the ignition is turned off ... but B6 and B7 models have issues with 09-Centeral Electronics control modules that can cause inoperative wiper problems.

Do the wipers work at all? Please post the complete Auto-Scan even if you do not have fault code(s).

Here is a scan taken today Yes they work just fine, they just don't park when the ignitions turned off. They work and park OK with the ignition turned on

I do believe that if you turn the ignition off (Terminal 15) while the wipers in motion, the power is cut to the wiper motor, thus stopping in its current location.

You may be right Jeff, but I've never noticed it before.The reason for asking. My Rover 75 used to park when the ignition was switched off, so I would have thought Audi, would have the same or better Technology.
