Every genuine VAG part has a 9 digit number and letters to identify a version or supersession.

I would take those part #s and verify in the EPC that they are correct for the respective location or description based on VIN and PR code #s.

the parts were ordered from an audi main dealer

0bf598082a. (Black plug) 8k0 927 221b taken off new one marked 8k0 927 221 c

apologies guys
forgot to update this thread

i replaced the second sensor and had a look in vcds and found a few settings to try

changed the second sensor after having to makea special socket to get the original off (the socket needs to be very very thin walled so i started with a standard one and put it in lathe and turned it down until it was 0.5mm thick wall thickness )

changed the sensor ok imported the sensor info
then found a setting to refill hydraulic lines
bleed hydraulic lines
pressure check

did this twice in a row and then tested ..... been working fine ever since

hope this helps if anyone else has a similar problem
