Hi All,
Was trying to fix the Rear licence plate LED warning issue with the fixes mentioned in the forum: One of the fixes requires me to go into the Central Elect -> Security Access but it seemed code 31347 is not working for my Skoda Superb Mk2 Kombi.

The steps I'm trying is:
-> Controller 09 - Central Electronics > 16 - Security Access - enter 31347
-> 10 - Adaptations
Change the 2 channels listed below
(1)-Leuchte25KZL HA59-Lasttyp 25 - set to: 43 - allgemeine LED
(6) Leuchte25KZL HA59 - Dimmwert AB 25 - set to 127
(1)-Leuchte25KZL HA59-Lasttyp 25 ===== (41- LED Keinleistung)

The extract of the scan results as followed:

The instructions you are using are for MQB based models, like the Superb (3V). Your's is the older generation Superb (3T). All you need for your car should be in the BCM coding, use the coding assist and you should be good to go.

Hi Sebastian, thanks for the advice. Could you guide me for the BCM settings? I have tried disabling the cold monitoring as well as checking the led option but the warning light will appear whenever the lights lit up as outside grows dark. Cheers!

Hi All .. Any experts advice :)
nets: I'm by no means an expert, but as a suggestion from a bog-amateur, have you considered the low-tech approach? How about fitting a by-pass resistor across the LED fitting to simulate an incandescent lamp? They do generate heat, but if placed appropriately, a resistor could be a worthwhile alternative - if a coding solution can't be found (IMO)

Your coding is already set up for LED license plate lights. The problem is likely your BCM software level, later versions (I believe SW 0640+) manage some of the settings differently, or in otherwords - the settings don't seem to have the desired effect. Don't low tech approach should work - though I am not a fan of it due to the generated heat and burning power for no reason.
